FOR ACCREDITED MEDIAGetting Accreditation BadgesOn arrival to St Petersburg journalists should get their accreditation badge, that proves the accreditation to cover the summit, enables to work at the International Media Center and, coupled with a pool card, authorizes to join a pool for covering summit events accompanied by the Organizing Committee Media Division officers. Badges should be worn and visible throughout the summit. Badges can be obtained at the Accreditation Center located at the St. Petersburg Sea Terminal (1 Morskaya Slava Square, tel.: (+7-812) 322-60-48). The Accreditation Center opens on July 13. The hours of operation are from 7 am until 2 am. Badges are only issued to those media representatives who have obtained accreditation confirmation via the official web site of Russia's G8 Presidency. To receive a badge you will have to present your passport (an identification document) as well as an original letter from your editorial office or media bureau (in Russian or in English). The badge will not be issued without the original letter. On issuing a badge, the center retains the letter. Starting on July 13 courtesy shuttle buses will be available to take you from Pulkovo-1 and Pulkovo-2 airports (starting at 9 am) and Moskovsky Railway Station (starting at 7 am) to the Accreditation Center located at the St. Petersburg Sea Terminal (1 Morskaya Slava Square, tel.: (+7-812) 322-60-48). Bus stops at the airports and rail station will be indicated by signs. If you've chosen different way to arrive to St. Petersburg, you will have to reach the Accreditation Center on your own. Courtesy shuttle service will be available from the Accreditation Center to the Pribaltiyskaya and Moskva hotels. You must be accredited and receive a badge to board the shuttle bus. Journalists who have chosen other hotels will have to find the way on their own. Lost Accreditation BadgesIf you lose your accreditation badge, you must immediately notify the Organizing Committee Media Division by phone. If you lose your badge in the International Media Center, you should also report it missing to the Information Desk. If you find an accreditation badge lost by someone else, please immediately notify the Organizing Committee Media Division by phone. If you find an accreditation badge lost by someone else in the International Media Center please return it to the Information Desk.
